Export matters and contacts from PracticePanther's modern grid, then use the CaseClock CSV Normalizer to prepare them for import.

Matters grid (CSV) and Contacts (Excel → CSV)

Log in to PracticePanther.
Open Matters in the main navigation.
Use the Status dropdown to show open or active matters.
Use Columns Toggle to display the fields you want in the export — include matter name, matter number, linked client, assigned user, and originating attorney.
Click Export.
Choose CSV.
Choose All to include all active matters that match your filters.
Download the CSV file.
Part 2
Open Contacts in the main navigation.
Filter to Primary Contacts if that matches your firm's client structure.
Click Export to Excel.
Choose Export All.
Save the file and convert to CSV if needed (File > Save As > CSV in Excel).

Include matter custom fields in the export if your firm stores practice area, jurisdiction, or billing rate there. The exact headers depend on the columns visible in the Matters grid.
