Export Guide
Interbill does not have a self-serve data export. Contact Interbill support to request your client and matter data as CSV files, then use the CaseClock CSV Normalizer to prepare them for import.

Support-assistedHow to get your data
Interbill does not include a built-in export feature accessible to end users. To get your data, contact Interbill's customer support team directly and request a data export. Ask them to provide the following as CSV spreadsheet files:
Current client list — including client IDs and client names
Current matter/file list — including matter IDs, matter names, and the client each matter belongs to
Responsible lawyer or billing attorney for each matter
Billing rate per matter or client, if stored in Interbill
Specify CSV format when requesting
When you contact Interbill support, explicitly ask for the data in CSV format (comma-separated values). Some vendors default to PDF reports or proprietary formats that cannot be imported. If they ask which columns to include, refer to the field reference table below.
After you receive the files
Once Interbill sends your export files, open each one in Excel or Google Sheets to review the column names. You may need to:
Confirm the files contain the columns listed in the field reference below.
Remove any header rows above the actual column headers if present.
Combine the client list and matter list into a single CaseClock-ready CSV if they were sent as separate files.
Run the combined file through the CaseClock CSV Normalizer to map your columns to CaseClock format.
Column reference
| CaseClock field | Interbill data to request |

Share this table with Interbill support to help them understand exactly which columns you need in the export.
