Step by step

Export instructions

    Log in to CaseFox.

    Go to Settings.

  3. 3

    Scroll down to the Export All section.

  4. 4

    Click Export All.

  5. 5

    Click Export All Data.

  6. 6

    Wait for a download link to be sent to the first admin email on the account.

  7. 7

    Download the Excel workbook when the email arrives.

  8. 8

    Open the workbook.

  9. 9

    Keep the Client List and Case List sheets — these are the two sheets you need for CaseClock.

  10. 10

    Ignore or delete the other sheets unless you need them for a separate purpose.

    Review the Client List columns (client name, client identifier if present) and the Case List columns (case name, case identifier).

  12. 12

    Save the relevant sheet or a cleaned combined file as CSV (File > Save As > CSV in Excel).

Email delivery note

CaseFox sends the download link to the first admin email on the account. If you don't see it within a few minutes, check your spam folder or confirm that the correct admin email address is on the account.

Confirm whether CaseFox uses case numbers or another field as the matter identifier. The export is broad — keep only the Client List and Case List sheets for CaseClock.
